MicroSnap offers significant improvements over traditional and other methods by reducing time, costs, and improving usability. The tests detect a larger dynamic range than traditional tests, making it flexible for a variety of applications. With MicroSnap, companies receive results sooner, become more efficient, and most importantly, improve food safety.
MicroSnap™ platform bridges the time gap between ATP and bacterial culture results with convenient, 8-hour or less tests for E. coli, Coliform, Enterobacteriaceae, and TVC. MicroSnap tests are read by the EnSURE™ monitoring system and results are recorded with SureTrend™ software. EnSURE measures both ATP monitoring and organisms tests, enabling food and beverage processors to acquire an accurate status of plant hygiene and product quality during the same working day or shift. Knowing test results sooner prevents recalls, reduces waste, shortens hold time, and enables a quicker response when contamination issues arise. Learn more about each individual test format below.
MicroSnap E. coli
MicroSnap Listeria spp.
Rapid Microbiology Testing enables same-shift enumeration results.
The entire MicroSnap Total process is complete in 7 hours.
Sample is collected and enriched at the beginning of the shift and incubated for 7 hours. Results are ready before the end of a typical 8-hour shift.
The MicroSnap range are AOAC validated the same as the traditional methods. However you do not need to be a microbiologist to operate the MicroSnap test. The tests are very simple to complete and provide answers far sooner than traditional methods.
New! Enhanced Nutrient Broth enables testing of product as well surfaces
Enhanced Nutrient Broth is one enrichment media for three MicroSnap detection tests. Just add 1mL of sample to the 9mL volume and incubate! The broth volume makes Enhanced Nutrient Broth perfect for milk samples where the limit is <1 CFU/ml. Enhanced Nutrient Broth is compatible with:
- MicroSnap Total
- MicroSnap Coliform
- MicroSnap E. coli
