Milk – Determination Of Freezing Point — Thermistor Cryoscope Method (Reference Method)

Cryoscopes allow a laboratory to complete rapid determination of the milk freezing point variation caused by added water. The Thermistor cryoscope is the international reference method for the detection of added water in milk samples

The freezing point can be used to estimate the proportion of extraneous water in milk.
