Description
PROTEON MILK EXPRESS Food and Surfaces
PROTEON MILK EXPRESS is a qualitative immunochromatographic test, in strip format, to detect β-lactoglobulin (β-LG ) in food and working surfaces. β-LG together with caseins, α-lactoalbumin
and seroalbumin are the main allergens in milk.
The test is based on the detection of the β-LG, which reacts with a specific antibody coated to redparticles attached to strip test. The appearance of two lines, red and blue, on the strip test is a
positive result.
Limit of detection in food: 0.25 ppm β-LG (2.5 ppm milk proteins or 7.0 ppm powder milk Moni QA)*
Limit of detection in surfaces: 0.7 µg of milk proteins (2.0 µg powder milk Moni QA)*
