Easy Plate EB Enterobacteriaceae

Easy Plate Enterobacteriaceae is a ready-made dry medium that contains modified Violet Red Bile Glucose (VRBG) nutrients, a cold-water-soluble gelling agent that facilitates colony enumeration. Used for the enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae in the food and beverage industries. Enterobacteriaceae ferments glucose and produces acid. The gelled medium contains
the pH indicator neutral red (red colonies) and crystal violet that deposits on the cells and turns colonies to red (purple to pink).
