The AllerSnap test is a quick and easy way to verify the cleanliness of surfaces by detecting protein residues left behind on surfaces after cleaning. Just simply swab the area, activate the device to release a reagent, incubate and if any protein residue is present then the reagent will turn purple.

This process provides a qualitative and semi-quantitative result of the protein levels on the surface. If the liquid turns green, it means its clean. However, if it turns purple, it means it needs a re-clean. The higher the amount of protein present, the quicker the colour change to purple and the darker the colour. The AllerSnap™ quickly validates surface hygiene which allows for immediate corrective action to be taken when necessary.

One swab tests for all proteins, quickly confirming the hygiene of a surface and eliminates the need to run multiple expensive allergen-specific tests. These tests do not require a wetting agent. A broad range of non-specific protein screening is more cost-effective when specific tests are not required.
